July 2018 We take a day out to drive the infamous "Strickland Spur Track" which is located just north of Melbourne Victoria out the back of Narbethong. I am driving a twin locked 80 series landcruiser with a 2inch lift and 33's. Did the track with ease thanks to the lockers. Some of the other guys in the crew needed to do a couple of basic recoveries but that was about it. Highly recommended fo...

Well done 😊
Dude you’re way the fuck off!! No where near how it’s played...
Did this upgrade today, brilliant and very happy
So glad i found your video, been struggling with same problem. Ordered new parts from bob the welder and used your vid as a guide, fixed my issue! welder works great, thankyou for making this public.
hi thanks for the video is there a part 2 ? thanks chris
Hi mate. Yes there is Part 2 and 3. Just search my other videos. Cheers
@@gdrahcir hello thanks for that , i had a look and there is part 1,3 and 4 thanks
just be aware that it doesn't fit unless you curse & swear
Nice one brother
I got my new hand piece a few months ago(thank you Bob the welder) and installed, 2021 and the 130 twin is still going strong.
Over and out mate. On my vehicle the previous owner cut the cable because probably had the same issue, they just didn’t want to deal with it. So I don’t know if my in dash factory speedo even works.
If your brakes are wearing like that, You have some serious problems with the calliper.
Very helpful, unfortunately didn’t show how to attach to speedo.
Great video mate, I need to change mine, will be a first time for me. However, it should not be necessary to bleed the brakes if only changing the pads, if done correctly and no fluid is lost. Thanks for the tutorial. Much easier than I thought.
Look at that lift! GodDamn legends! 🔥🔥
thanks for the tutorial and the hook up with Bob the welder would recommend to anyone awesome . i have the same welder bought the hand piece from Bob it arrived quick & hassle free Had a bit of fun in the shed with couple of mates an a few beers got it all sorted quick an easy welder works perfectly so a BIG THUMBS UP to these guys pretty good for Aussies :)
Flush the lines u lazy bastard
Legend thanks man
Great video. Thanks mate.
G'day mate. I'm guessing you're an Aussie? I lived in Vic and Tasmania for a while back in 1980-81. I really appreciate this video. You did a great job on it. Keep it up.
I was told that you need to machine the rotors each brake pad change so the pads wear correctly next set..
In a perfect world with unlimited funds mate yeah you probably should. But if your finding that your brake pads have worn fairly evenly then i wouldn't really bother until maybe the second time around replacing the pads. Getting your local shop to machine them only costs maybe $50 a rotar at most so can be money well spent. Cheers.
What do you call that type of vehicle? Never seen anything like it in Merica!
Its a UTE mate. Short for utility. Its a pretty big thing here in Australia. Its a similar concept to the camero utes though. Holden Australia was the manufacturer and i believe back in the day that they only really exported em to New Zealand and South Africa. Cheers.
Did he just count himself in?
Yup. I sure did haha.
awesome buddy thanks for the straight forward instructions. will give it go
Great vid mate! And a great controller
Was this originally uploaded to MySpace haha
Bogans
Thanks mate
No worries bud. Glad i could help out.
Thank you so much. I just changed the front brake pads on my VS using your video as a guide and it worked like a treat
Thanks mate. Im glad it helped out. Cheers.
Thanks from New Brunswick Canada
Awesome stuff mate! i’ve been waiting for another new footage of Stickland spur track for a while. Because I love this track!!!
Good Vid, l loved the Disco
Kaaijiu thanks mate. I want to do more videos like this to help people decide on what tracks to do. I know that's what I do haha. I always UA-cam videos of a track I want to do for research so I want to repay the favour. Cheers
Same mig same problem good video ...
Thanks for the informative video mate :)
WHat are you supposed to lube cable with?
Great job - thanks man !
i have one of these welders (130 twin) it wasn't feeding the wire very good it end up being the little motor wire feeder only worked sometimes and other times jammed even when i took the motor out so there was no resistance still jammed the bearing was wobbly too
Did u find a replacement that works
@@kalebgullan4157 no what I did not realize is that the roller that the wire was on was for a 0.8 wire and I had a 0.6 wire so it was slipping I turned the wire roller around It had 0.6 on the other side and it works better now but I make sure I have the cable straight which helps one thing my old boss use to do is have a 0.8 tip but use 0.6 wire which worked well to stop it jamming
Lil tip bro, 1st thanks for video. But you gotta leave all the 5ths out of those chords.
Thank you for this video. You make it look simple... or as you say nothing too scary 😊
man sounds like you live on jerasic park, im hearing raptors and shit
Oh dear. I wanted to see what it took to go thru the fire wall
Put the removed tyre under the sill just in case the jack slips. Use long cable ties to hang the caliper while unbolted to save stressing the brake line.
Should make more vids do a part 2 get on the piss and build a skidda.
Kick ass lesson bro. Best one I have seen in a long time ... keep making them on here we will make you famous after we make it .lol MANY THANKS...👍👍👍👍👍
do your thing but get some stands
That a Dodge Rampage??? I haven't seen one of those in years.
jessica martinez Nar it's an Aussie made 1974 holden ute mate. Cheers
great tutorial; but what does it have to do with a 1947 willys cj2a , with the original flat head 4 cyl & T90 manual tranny with a pto?
Umm. Sorry mate, nothing to do with a willys what-so-ever. This is a 1974 Aussie Holden Ute.
do a 88 xj6 Jaguar have a speed cable
